2016 50 Pence Coin - Beatrix Potter Anniversary

In 2016 to mark the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter a number of 50p coins were issued by the Royal Mint. This one is know as the Beatrix Potter Anniversary 50p.

A portrait of Beatrix Potter above along with her name, dates of her birth and death (1866-1943) and Peter Rabbit. It was designed by Emma Noble.

Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
