In 2016 to mark the 150th Anniversary of the birth of Beatrix Potter a number of 50p coins were issued by the Royal Mint. This one is know as the Beatrix Potter Anniversary 50p.A portrait of Beatrix Potter above along with her name, dates of her birth and death (1866-1943) and Peter Rabbit. It was designed by Emma Noble.
Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark.
