2015 One Pound Coin - Shield of the Royal Arms

The standard 2015 One Pound Coin. Two versions of the one pound coins were released in 2015.

The reverse shows the Shield of the Royal Arms representing the United Kingdom. The design is by Matthew Dent.

The Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.

The edge inscription is DECUS ET TUTAMEN which means 'An ornament and a safeguard'.
