2014 One Pound Coin - Thistle and Bluebell

The Scottish 2014 One Pound Coin. Three versions of the one pound coins were released in 2014.

The reverse shows a floral emblem (Thistle and bluebell) representing Scotland. The design is by Timothy Noad.

The Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.

The edge inscription is NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT which means 'No one attacks me with impunity'.

Low mintage makes this coin very collectable.
