2010 50 Pence Coin - Girl Guides

In 2010 it was 100 Years of Girlguiding UK. The Guides were formed by Robert Baden-Powell, founder of The Boy Scouts Association, who established a separate organisation for girls.

Jonathan Evans and Donna Hainan designed the reverse showing a hexagon made of six of the shamrock symbols of Girlguiding.

Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
