2007 50 Pence Coin - Scouts

In 1907 Robert Baden-Powell formed the Scouts, so the Royal Mint commemorated the Centenary of the Foundation of the Scouting Movement in 2007 with this 50p coin.. A fleur-de-lis superimposed over a globe and surrounded by the inscription of the Scouts motto "BE PREPARED" and the dates "1907" and "2007".

The reverse was designed by Kerry Jones.

Obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
