The 2001 Silver Britannia Proof show Britannia standing with a shield in her left hand and a trident in her right hand with a lion standing next to her. The reverse was designed by Philip Nathan.
The obverse is the portrait of Queen Elizabeth II by Ian Rank-Broadley.
