1986 One Pound Coin - Flax Plant

The 1986 One Pound Coin. On the reverse is the Flax Plant and royal diadem representing Northern Ireland. The design, by Leslie Durbin, was used in 1986 and 1991.

The obverse is Queen Elizabeth II by Raphael Maklouf.

The Edge Inscription is DECUS ET TUTAMEN which means 'An ornament and a safeguard'.
