Empty 1989-1999 Royal Mint Gold Proof Sovereign Box

Description

The maroon leatherette box was the official Royal Mint case used to house gold proof sovereigns from 1989 to 1999. The box is designed to accommodate a Royal Mint screw type (Not included).

The 1989 gold proof sovereign was issued in both the red and maroon leatherette box, this was the crossover year for a change in the box size and colour.
