The 2013 Christopher Ironside Gold Proof Fifty Pence features the Royal Coat of Arms on the reverse (Designed by Christopher Ironside), Queen Elizabeth II’s fourth portrait can be seen on the obverse (Designed by Ian Rank-Broadley).
The gold proof fifty pence is made of 22 carat gold, and weighs 15.5 grams. It comes in its original Royal Mint presentation case, with a certificate of authenticity.
The 2013 Christopher Ironside Gold Proof Fifty Pence had a maximum individual mintage of 340, but according to Royal Mint figures, only 198 were produced.
