The 2020 Withdrawal from the European Union gold proof fifty pence piece features an inscription on the reverse of the coin. Queen Elizabeth II’s fifth portrait can be seen on the obverse of the coin, designed by Jody Clark.
The gold proof fifty pence piece is made of 22 carat gold, and weighs 15.5 grams. The coin comes in its original presentation case, with outer card sleeve and individually numbered certificate of authenticity.
Only 1,500 2020 Brexit gold proof fifty pence pieces were issued by the Royal Mint.
