The 2017 5 coin gold proof sovereign set contains a gold proof five pounds piece (£5), two pounds piece (£2), sovereign, half sovereign and quarter sovereign. All 5 coins are made of solid 22 carat gold (0.916 fine).
Queen Elizabeth II’s portrait features on the obverses of all 5 coins.
The coins come housed in their original Royal Mint wooden presentation case, complete with outer card box and sleeve. Accompanying the set is a numbered certificate of authenticity, as well as an information booklet.
Only 750 2017 5 coin gold proof sovereign set were issued by the Royal Mint.
