The 2013 Coronation Gold Proof Five Ounce was issued by the Royal Mint to commemorate the 65th anniversary of Her Majesty’s Coronation. The obverse design depicts Ian Rank-Broadley’s fourth portrait of Queen Elizabeth II. The reverse features an interior view of Westminster Abbey, with the coronation regalia, engraved by Jonathan Olliffe.
The gold proof five ounce coin is made of 0.999 fine gold, and weighs 156.295 grams (5oz).
