The Three Graces design is the second issue in the Royal Mint Great Engravers design. The masterpiece was the work of Royal Mint shield engraver William Wyon. Wyon was also behind the Una and the Lion design, which featured on the first issue in the series.
The Three Graces design is incredibly popular amongst coin collectors, and viewed more as a piece of art.
The Royal Mint issued the Three Graces on the 22nd February 2021. All of the coins minted are dated 2020, this is due to the fact the issue was originally meant to be launched in December 2020, but postponed because of the pandemic.
The Royal Mint issued a number of different size coins and denominations featuring the Three Graces design, including a gold proof 5kg, 3kg, 2kg, 1kg, 5oz, 2oz, and a silver proof 2kg, 1kg, 10oz, 5oz and 2oz.
